Short Papers & SPoDs

At the Congress in Liverpool in 2018, Short Papers of Distinction will be presented on Thursday 10th May 2018. All accepted abstracts, whether for oral presentation or an e-poster, will be published online on the BJS website (citable).

Audio-Visual Requirements:
All presentations throughout the Congress are expected to be delivered using PowerPoint on the laptops provided by the venue.  The laptops will be using Windows 10, with PowerPoint 2016. Please note that the screen ratio is 4:3 in Halls 1A, 1B and 1C and Room 12.  Room 13 is equipped with a plasma screen with a 16:9 screen ratio.

We can confirm that each oral presentation should have a maximum of 4 slides including your Title Slide.

Please send your presentation to Nicky.Norman@ACCLiverpool.com before Tuesday 1st May 2018.

The file name of the presentation should be formatted as follows:
Speaker Name, Presentation Date, Presentation Time, Room Name
(For example:  John Smith 9th May 1030 Hall 1B)

Please bring a copy of your presentation on a USB stick as a back up.


 

Failure to present an accepted abstract will be taken seriously. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, an abstract has to be withdrawn, please notify Rochelle Roach immediately at rochelle@asgbi.org.uk

All authors who have abstracts accepted for the Congress are encouraged to submit a manuscript at
http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/bjs for consideration for publication in the BJS.
